One
of the important planetary events of this year is the transit of the modern planet
Pluto from the sidereal zodiac sign Scorpio to Sagittarius. It first occurs on
January 28. Pluto stays in Sagittarius till May 28, and then with its retrograde motion
returns to Scorpio and stays
in Scorpio till November 28. After November 28, 2005 it will remain in
Sagittarius for the following 14 to15 years (till February 2020). Although
it's going to be in Sagittarius for only about 4 months before it returns to Scorpio, Pluto being the planet
of transformation will certainly affect the matters related to Sagittarius in a big way.
The drastic changes in our collective moral and religious perceptions are
certainly going to be manifested in the way we never experienced before by
Pluto's transit in Sagittarius. This era (next 15 years) will be remembered as
the period of religious revolution. The way we have been used to deal with
religions will no longer be our norms. Although it's very likely that some
of the world religions will either become obsolete or transformed into other
forms the religious or moral codes will be greatly influenced by our collective
spiritual experiences. And in that sense a subtle but most effective
transformation of world religions during this unique era of 15 years is likely
to take us to a level where the norms solely based on spiritual experiences will
dictate and guide our lives with new level of understanding.
In scientific and
technological areas a lot of drastic changes and emerging new ideas will
find their way into innovations and discoveries. The
scientific and technological growth rate will rise at a very rapid pace.
However, it will be the first time the scientific and technological research
will be more focused in areas that will attempt to bridge the gap between the science and
morality or spirituality or meta-physical science. The likely areas of research will be in biotechnology, medicine,
spiritual healing, and life-force related activities. A
new wave of philosophers with their new perspectives on living, in general, will certainly
transform our world in next 15 years to a new level of understanding.
Even
as we enter the new year (2005) the important and auspicious planetary configurations
still continue to be: Neptune-Uranus ninefold opposition (Oct 30 - Jan
25), Saturn-Ketu (Nov 11 - Jan 10) ninefold trine and the Saturn-Rahu
ninefold sextile.
From
the human evolution standpoint the Neptune-Uranus ninefold
opposition is very important as these modern planets will accelerate
the process of human evolution not only just in the technical and
scientific areas but also in social and religious fields. Since both Neptune and Uranus
have been at very close to their
slowest possible orbital motion and will remain almost at that level for
another two months or so this ninefold opposition is going to
last through January 25, 2005. Therefore, this period is going to be extremely important.
Because the
United States of America is directly influenced by Uranus, this
opposition will be distinctly reflected in the transformation of
American ideals and convictions through the new political and social
changes. The norms that Americans have been used to will certainly
going to be transformed to a new setting, and as a result, world politics will be

former Soviet Union). This probably has been reflected in the recent
stress created by Ukraine voting result (and the subsequent
re-election in the last week of December) in the diplomatic
relationship between the two countries. And the last but not the least important are the magnificent advances
that have been taking place through this period in science and technology through
innovations, inventions, and discoveries.

planetary configurations are likely to be responsible for violence, suicide

make overseas trip for improving diplomatic relations with

ninefold opposition (Jan 7 - 11), Pluto-Saturn ninefold square
(Jan 17 - 22), Mars-Pluto square (Jan 27 - 30), and Mars-Saturn
quincunx are likely to be responsible for both
man-made and natural calamities during January. Since Saturn, Mars
and Pluto both being in water signs of the sidereal zodiac,
majority of such events are likely to occur near coastal regions
or on water. Of course Uranus-Saturn ninefold opposition and
Mars-Saturn square will
continue to create havoc in Iraq and the middle east
region including Israel and Palestine. Winter storms in the United
States may prove to be severe.

financial markets for January are likely to begin with the bearish tone in the first
week of the month, then turn mixed during the second week, followed by
a bullish trend for a few days, then becoming again bearish to mixed through the end of the
month.
It must be noted that the basis for the following predictions
mainly includes the influence of the planets Saturn, Jupiter, and Mars along
with the slower moving modern planets Uranus, Neptune,
and Pluto. For the ninefold analysis, the fast
moving planets like Mercury, Venus, Sun, and Moon can also influence the outcome
