Retrograde Mercury (Aug 10 - Sept 3)
On August 10, the planet Mercury became retrograde in Leo. It will stay retrograde until September 3 in Leo. Typically
retrograde Mercury means anxieties, communication breakdowns, unexpected delays,
frustrations, missing deadlines, unforeseen obstacles and disappointment in
daily chores. Retrograde Mercury in Leo means
more frustrating periods for leaders, politicians, entrepreneurs and for people
with type A personality. This is the time not to start a new project or venture,
but rather reflect on what's been done so far. Also, this is the best time
to cleanup that closet and do other chores that you have been postponing due to
lack of time.
In addition, if you have dominating Mercury in your birth chart, and if
your current planetary cycle provides the results of Mercury then you are more
likely to experience the pronounced effects of retrograde Mercury during this
period.
Saturn's
transit in the sidereal zodiac sign Cancer (September 3)
On September 3, Saturn will enter the sidereal zodiac
sign Cancer, and it will remain in Cancer till January 16, 2005. It returns to
Gemini on January 13 via its retrograde motion (actually becomes retrograde on
November 8, 2004) and will stay in Gemini till May 22, 2005 before reentering in
Cancer.
Cancer being the water and moving sign, for the next two
and half years, Saturn will strongly influence the world psyche, world
religions, commerce, and economy. Those who have Saturn in Cancer will see their
lives transformed to a new settings due to a drastic change (mostly at emotional
and psychological level). In my opinion, it's going to be a very positive and
exciting two and half years for those who have dominant Saturn in their birth
chart and have Taurus, Aquarius, Libra, and Virgo as their natal ninefold
ascendant.
On a collective level, in the next two and half years,
on a world political scene, countries like India and Pakistan will make news
headlines. Covert activities in most part of the world will be on rise.
Terrorism or terrorist activities may seem to subside, but in reality terrorism
will remain in the dormant state to preparing for future attacks.
Jupiter's
transit in the sidereal zodiac sign Virgo (August 26)
On
August 26, Jupiter leaves (sidereal) Leo and enters the next zodiac sign, Virgo.
Jupiter's transit from one zodiac sign to the next occurs, on average, once a
year. Virgo being flexible and earth sign ruled by Mercury, Jupiter in Virgo has
a tendency to enhance material prosperity of those who have well placed and
connected Mercury and Jupiter in their birth charts while others likely to
experience their prosperity diminish. In general, transit of Jupiter in Virgo is
positive. For one thing material prosperity around the worlds is likely to
be expand. (It must be noted that despite Jupiter's positive influence on world
material prosperity, effects of other planets should be taken into account to
assess the net result or effect). In addition, the influence of contemporary
philosophers on society will shape the future direction of our social evolution
through the philosophical and metaphysical debates. In general, the Virgo
Jupiter is known to be responsible for world economic expansion. So from that
perspective expect some positive economic changes during this period and welcome
the Jupiter's entry in Virgo.
On

have Cancer, Libra, Capricorn, Pisces, or Taurus as their natal ninefold
ascendant are likely to experience a very positive twelve months period
beginning August 26.
Uranus-Ketu
trine (Uranus-Rahu sextile) (July
14 - Oct 4)
Uranus-Ketu
trine is going to be very favorable for those who have lunar nodes favorably
placed in their natal charts with respect to Uranus. If such placing is
connected to the first house, second house, ninth house, tenth house, or
eleventh house then expect monetary as well as power gains, promotions and
improved prestige in professional and social fields. The ideas that you
always wanted to pursue but somehow could never get started....now is the time
to follow that dream. You will distinctly notice and feel the positive energy
flowing through you during this period. It's time to jump in and enjoy
this period.
Pluto-Mars

These
four days in September may cause great turmoil in
lives of individual who have Pluto-Mars square in their natal charts.
Depending on their positions the matters related to the respective houses are
likely to be affected. The severity of the manifestation would be
