Total Lunar Eclipse (May 4)
A total lunar eclipse occurs on May 4 approximately
during the hours
of 18:30 to 23:00 GMT. This eclipse will be visible in continents of
Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, and the east-coast of South
America.
This eclipse is important since the Sun (with Rahu) and Moon
(with Ketu) will be within 3-4 degrees from the lunar nodes. Consequently this
eclipse is likely to be unfavorable for those who have sidereal Aries or Libra rising or
Aries or Libra as moon sign.
For those who have in their birth charts the lunar nodes in conjunction with
either Sun or Moon should watch-out. It's not a good
day! Take extra precaution and avoid any sort of outdoor activity
requiring you to get out of house.
On world scene, European continent, the middle east (especially Israel,
Palestine, Iraq, and perhaps Saudi Arabia), Russia, China, and southeast Asian countries
are likely to experience violence, terrorism related activities, or natural
disaster.
Retrograde Venus (May 18 - June 30)
On
May 18, the planet Venus turns retrograde in its motion in
sidereal zodiac sign Gemini. Venus becomes
retrograde about once every 19 months, and stays retrograde for about six
weeks. In
general, a retrograde Venus means a very challenging period for
women, marriages, home life, lovers, entertainment industries. Expect the
divorce rates to rise, fighting between spouses to intensify, and delays, frustrations,
and misunderstandings to take a center-stage in domestic matters. If
you have a dominating Venus in your birth chart, and if your current planetary
cycle influences your life negatively via Venus then you are more likely to experience the
effects of the retrograde Venus till June 30. The entertainers such as actors, actresses, musicians, comedians, movie
directors and producers may
find themselves in a miserable situation during the retrograde Venus period
especially if
they are currently being negatively influenced by Venus through their current progressive
cycles.
Mars-Saturn conjunction (May 20-23)
Mars-Saturn conjunction, for no apparent reason,
changes a perfectly normal and healthy situation into the one with a lot of
tension and friction. For those who have
such conjunction or opposition in their birth charts, and if they have any one of these planets
influencing them through the current progressive cycles certainly need to be on
guard. Simply lay back and do minimum. If you must involve in an unwanted
situation, be extra careful and try to minimize the damage. Experiences like fire burns,
rape, accidents, loss of precious things, and monetary disasters are real
possibilities.
On the world scene, a short term but very intensive
friction between India and Pakistan is very likely. Terrorism and violence,
especially in Israel-Palestine area will be on rise. Outbreak of an
undesirable happening, and strong occurrences of both natural and man-made
calamities are real possibilities.
Saturn-Ketu
ninefold conjunction (Saturn-Rahu opposition) (May
15-18)
The time when Saturn-Ketu ninefold conjunction occurs is
not favorable for those who have such conjunction or squares in their birth charts. In
addition, if the lunar node Rahu (or Ketu), or Saturn is affecting your life via your current
progressive chart, then you might want to consider
taking extra precautions in areas affected by these planets as
shown in your natal chart. Such people should avoid taking any risk at any cost during this period. Such conjunction can make things difficult for you
and make you feel so miserable that you probably will not forget this period in your
life. Staying low
key is certainly the way to go. Avoid any new ventures and postpone the
matters that require you to make a crucial decision till this period is passed.
On a collective level, Russia, China and to some extent
Europe may experience
social or political turmoil during this period. Also, for the Republic Party in
the United States and for republicans
including President Bush, it may prove to be prudent to stay on
guard during these 4 days.
Pluto-Saturn ninefold conjunction (May 23 -27)
For those who have Pluto in conjunction with Saturn in their birth charts, watch out! If
Saturn and or Pluto influencing you now through your current
progressive chart your life is more likely to be shaken up, and depending
on the placement and the strength of these planets in your birth chart, the
severity of the outcome will vary. Although the experience that you might go
through seem unbearable, this may prove to be the beginning of the next plateau of your
life cycle that you are destined for.
On a collective level, the outbreak of violence and
terrorism around the world is very probable. Also, natural calamities like
earthquakes, severe weather conditions, natural as well as man made accidents
are more likely during this period.
