Although it’s very difficult to predict the influence of
planets on a given individual without referring to his or her birth chart the
following is intended only as a general guideline. For confirmation, however, you must refer to your birth
chart. Based on the assessment of planetary strengths or weaknesses in your

of planets in your current progressive regular and ninefold charts, and the
current operating planetary cycles the following may or may not be applicable.
Total Lunar Eclipse (May 16, 1:00 -6:00 AM GMT)
A total lunar eclipse occurs on May 15/16 approximately
during the hours
of 1:00 to 60:00 AM GMT. This eclipse will be visible in continents of
Europe, United States, South America, Africa, Middle-East, and Russia.
This eclipse is important since the Sun will be within
4-5 degrees from Rahu, the Northern or ascending node
in the sidereal zodiac sign Taurus and Moon within 4-5 degrees from Ketu, the
Southern or descending node
in the sidereal zodiac sign Scorpio. Consequently this eclipse, according to
Vedic astrology, is likely to be unfavorable for those who have sidereal Taurus
or Scorpio
rising or as moon sign.
For those who have the lunar nodes in conjunction with
either Sun, Moon in their birth charts should watch-out. It's not a good
day! Take extra precaution and avoid any sort of outdoor activity

Partial
Solar Eclipse (May 31, 3:00 - 5:00 AM GMT)
A partial and weak solar eclipse occurs on May 31 during the hours of 3:00 to
5:00 AM GMT. It will be visible in some parts of Asia, Pacific rim- countries
and Australia. Since it's a weaker type I
don't expect it to influence the world events in significantly negative
way.
Retrograde Mercury (Apr 26 - May 20)
On April 26, the planet Mercury became retrograde in Aries. It will stay retrograde until May 20 in Aries. Typically retrograde Mercury means
anxieties, communication breakdowns, unexpected delays, frustrations,
missing deadlines, unforeseen obstacles and disappointment in daily chores.
Retrograde Mercury in Aries means more frustrating periods for leaders,
explorers, entrepreneurs, military personnel and for people with type A
personality. This is the time not to start a new project or venture, but
rather reflect on what's been done so far. Also, this is the best time to
cleanup that closet and do other chores that you have been postponing due to
lack of time.
In addition, if you have dominating Mercury in your birth chart, and if
your current planetary cycle provides the results of Mercury then you are more

Neptune-Jupiter
opposition (May
28- June 8)
Both Jupiter and Neptune are considered as auspicious
planets. While Jupiter deals with outward and material things Neptune's
influence on us is very abstract and subtle. Jupiter-Neptune opposition occurs
once (actually 2-3 times with in a year's period due to their retrograde
motions) in about 13-14 years. For those who have
such opposition in their birth charts, and if they have any one of these planets
influencing them through the current progressive cycle are certainly going to
experience a transformation (irreversible change) of their beliefs and moral

Pluto-Neptune ninefold trine (April 11 -May 4)
At a collective level, the Pluto-Neptune ninefold trine
is positive in either bringing terrorism under control or even wiping out major
terrorist cells through covert operation. In addition, this ninefold trine is good for Russia
and to some extent for China. Also, on technological front, expect some positive
