Although it’s very difficult to predict the influence of
planets on a given individual without referring to his or her birth chart the
following is intended only as a general guideline. For confirmation, however, you must refer to your birth
chart. Based on the assessment of planetary strengths or weaknesses in your
birth chart, placement
of planets in your current progressive regular and ninefold charts, and the
current operating planetary cycles the following may or may not be applicable.
Retrograde Mercury (Apr 26 - May 20)
On April 26, the planet Mercury becomes retrograde in Aries. It will stay retrograde until May 20 in Aries. Typically retrograde Mercury means
anxieties, communication breakdowns, unexpected delays, frustrations,
missing deadlines, unforeseen obstacles and disappointment in daily chores.
Retrograde Mercury in Aries means more frustrating periods for leaders,
explorers, entrepreneurs, military personnel and for people with type A
personality. This is the time not to start a new project or venture, but
rather reflect on what's been done so far. Also, this is the best time to
cleanup that closet and do other chores that you have been postponing due to
lack of time.
In addition, if you have dominating Mercury in your birth chart, and if
your current planetary cycle provides the results of Mercury then you are more
likely to experience the pronounced effects of retrograde Mercury during this period.
Jupiter (April 4)
Good news! After about 4 months in the doldrums of
retrograde motion, Jupiter is becoming direct on April 4 in the sidereal zodiac Cancer. For those who have
a well placed Jupiter in their birth charts and if Jupiter's period is currently in
operation, be ready for exciting period! Things should start picking up and gain
that momentum you have been waiting for. Enjoy!
On
the world scene, particularly in religious world, positive activities will
start shaping up. The world economy should start picking up slowly and to
reach its normal growth rate over next few months.
Pluto-Neptune ninefold trine (April 11 -30)
At a collective level, the Pluto-Neptune ninefold trine
is positive in either bringing terrorism under control or even wiping out major
terrorist cells through covert operation. In addition, this ninefold trine is good for Russia
and to some extent for China. Also, on technological front, expect some positive
breakthroughs in high technology and biotechnology fields.
On an individual level, if in your birth chart Pluto is
in sextile with Neptune or Pluto-Neptune form a ninefold trine, and if either of these planets is currently influencing your
life via your current
progressive chart, then you are very likely to be positively affected by this
trine.
Depending on the houses these planets
occupy in your birth chart, you are going to have a positive experience in that particular field.

Uranus-Rahu
(and Ketu) regular (Apr 3-23) and ninefold square(s) (Apr
10-16)
Neptune-Rahu
(and Ketu) ninefold squares are going to be very unfavorable for those who have
such squares in their natal charts. Depending on the positioning of these
planets in those natal charts the disappointment indicated by the houses they
reside in is expected. For instance, if in your natal chart such square is
between the first and the tenth house then expect either sudden loss of money, power, demotions
at work place or tarnished reputation in professional and social
fields. Thus, if you have such squares in your birth
chart, and if any one of these planets is presently influencing you through the
current progressive cycle then you need to be extra careful. The best thing to do is
not to make any new commitment, and totally avoid taking any new business or monetary risk.
On a collective level, rising terrorism and on-going war
between the Iraq and coalition forces becoming uglier are very likely. Confusion
and fear is likely to dominate in the United States.
