Comments for September predictions (For those who are interested in following up the September predictions against the actual events): The following were the expectations from planetary influence for the month September

The month of September, especially the latter half, is going to be dominated by discoveries and inventions in the scientific world.  Also, expect lot of merger and acquisitions in the financial world. New ideas are about to take seed in the world of religion. Social norms are likely to get transformed to a new level. The battle of ideology between liberals and conservatives in the United States may intensify, but look for positive outcome resulting in all of us benefiting from it.  Overall, it’s a positive month for most part of the world.  

The phenomenal progress in genetics research, announcement of unique discoveries in high technology area by leading industrial research laboratories support to agree with the above prediction.  Also, there were at least three different merger and acquisition announcement (the biggest one being Chase - JP Morgan) in the financial world.  

·        United States: The first half of September may bring difficult challenges for Clinton Administration due to internal tensions, crisis, and mismanagement. But the latter half of the month should emerge with solutions to those challenges. The foreign policy efforts will be rewarded.  The USA will certainly be in position to offer a strong leadership and guidance to the rest of the world.

The Republic party is likely to have difficult time maintaining the lead it has enjoyed in August.  Expect it to meet some rough times during this month.  Their presidential nominee Bush is likely to fall behind in poll against his democratic rival Mr. Gore in the latter part of the month. 

As we all know the Republic Party had difficulty in maintaining the lead in the poll that they enjoyed in August.  Bush faced some difficulties during the first half of the month causing him to lag behind his democratic opponent. 

Democrats are likely to come out of woods and get to enjoy some easy time and popularity during the second part of the month. Expect Mr. Gore to make real headway against his opponent.  

As predicted, Democratic Party did enjoyed this month, and Mr. Gore has made real progress in polls.

·        Russia:   From economical standpoint, Russians are going to enjoy some positive developments.  Expect some close collaboration between USA and Russia during the second half of the month.  However, on domestic front the country may be facing real challenges and difficulties during most of the month.

      Have no idea what went on in Russia during September, although I remember some news about some positive development in the country, and also, better relations with USA.

·        China, Hong Kong, and Pacific-rim countries:   On a political level, China may go through some difficult times in resolving domestic issues.  Tension between USA and China may be on rise during the first half of the month. But from economic standpoint, the entire pacific-rim region, China, Japan, and Hong Kong are likely to enjoy some positive developments..

      Improvement in USA-Chinese trade relationship is clearly evident from the passage of the China Trade Bill in both the House and Senate.

·        Europe:  In general, the first half of the month Europe is likely to continue enjoy its good period in the economical and political areas.  However, during the second half of the month, a possibility of a monetary or political crisis can not be ruled out.

      The Euro-currency crisis began around September 15.

·        Religion:  An excellent month for religious activities around the world. New welcoming changes are likely despite some difficult situations. More liberal approach in religious field is likely to take root.  

      I did not keep up with news in religious world.   Any input on this item would be greatly appreciated. 

·        Natural Calamities: Except for September 17-19 period, and perhaps September 25-30 period, the month is likely to be trouble free. These natural calamities may include extreme weather conditions, droughts, thunderstorms, earthquakes, fires, and natural accidents.

       The hurricane Gordon passed through Florida during 17-19 period. The  Cuban plane crash occurred on September 19. The Greek Ferry sank in Aegean Sea killing over 100 people.

      

2) World Financial Markets

Financial markets around the world are likely to become more volatile as the month progresses.  In general, the second half of the month (September 20 through September 30) may prove to be very volatile and likely to trend towards bullishness.

September 1 – September 2:  Mixed to bearish

September 3 – September 5: Slightly bearish

September 6 – September 9: Mixed to bullish

September 10 – September 12: Mixed to bearish

September 13 – September 16: Mixed and very volatile

September 17 – September 19: Extreme volatility is likely, and bearish

September 20 – September 24: Mixed to bullish

September 25 – September 30: Generally bullish and very volatile.  

 

While US markets followed the predictions pretty much the entire month except the last week (especially September 26, 27, and 29) the rest of the world financial markets trended pretty close to the above prediction.  

It must be noted that the predictions basis mainly included the influence of the slow moving modern planets (Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto), Saturn, Jupiter, and Mars.  For ninefold analysis the fast moving planets like Mercury, Venus, Sun, and Moon can also influence the outcome of financial markets but are difficult to account for as the analysis process becomes too complex to predict for the entire month.  Therefore, should it become necessary to account for the influence of fast moving planets (which at this time I can only predict for 2 to 3 days out in future) I hope to provide the timely advanced updates whenever appropriate.
